VOLUNTEERS
Smooth operation of Bread of Life's various comprehensive services
is totally dependent on donations and volunteers. Most of the
regular volunteers are East Palo Alto & eastern Menlo Park
residents who have committed themselves to improving the quality
of life of all EPA/eMP residents.
Volunteers from surrounding communities are also invaluable.
Some volunteers are students from Stanford. Others are from various
Jr. High and High Schools who wish to satisfy "Community
Service" hours needed for their academic regimen. Yet other
volunteers are from civic or religious organizations. Some come
weekly; some, monthly; some, on special occasions and holidays.
All Volunteers are critical to the everyday workload at Bread
of Life. Volunteers (young and old) usually find Bread of Life
to be a unique and heart-warming experience. You can volunteer
today!
Bread of Life receives no federal or state funding. Thus, Bread
of Life depends heavily on donations from individual donors and
from corporations who wish to improve the lives of the homeless
and indigent. You can donate finances or resources today!
